Hello everyone! Everything is great here in Paraguay! I wanted to share a funny story that happened the other day with my family here. They ask me about once a week if I need a towel to shower with and I always respond that I have one.I brought the quick dry thin towels to use. After about a month of there, I noticed that everyone was waiting for me outside of the bathroom one day. They all started laughing because they saw that I actually did own a towel! My mom has been washing my towels once a week, but she thought they were tablecloths!!
I am on a site visit right now in Iturbe, a few hours outside of asuncion. im staying with another host family here and they are very nice. i have a 3 year old sister, a mom, and a cute little puppy! i will be here until thursday,

Hi Karen! Thanks for the message! It was actually pretty difficult to get to a computer on dad´s birthday because it was raining here. Kinda strange, but when it rains here, everything is closed… including all of the schools! Luckily one of my friend´s has internet connection at his house, so I ran over there to borrow his computer. I didn´t want to forget dad´s birthday!!!
